Well I’ve been away from blogging for another 2 weeks, for 2 reasons, firstly because I’ve not been feeling very Christian for the last fortnight, because 2, some thieving git broke into my house and stole a number of things, including my computer. This means I lost the use of my diary, all my old service details, and sick visit records, which I’ve had to rebuild from scratch.
I wish the person well with my computer and the other things they stole, and hope that when they are caught and I pray they are, the Magistrates pay close attention to what the poor, defenceless clergyman in the witness box says.
“Vengence is mine sayeth the Lord”, but sometimes you really want to help out

Oh, how annoying is that!
Makes your blood boil.
This is the time when you just wish you had a gun,(I’m always saying that as my friends know!) rather unchristian I know, but, to invade your personal space and take your computer with all your personal business on it. And to break into your home is sickening.
I hope that person is caught too.

Regretably, and despite the rumours, we are still human. Before I came into the Church I spent a number of years in the pub trade, and before that in the Police, so I have an interesting and varied vocabulary, although most of it only gets used during rush hour on the M6 around spaghetti junction (cursing the cars or the genius who designed it)
